My Lifeline

Earphones are practically my lifeline. My IV that keeps blood flowing through my veins, i guess you could say. They make it so I can listen to music in public without disturbing people anywhere in the world (as long as I have a device that plays music, of course). Music is personal to me. I don't always feel comfortable with other people hearing what I'm listening to, even if I know them really well. Music keeps me sane. Not kidding (example: I lost a pair of earphones and the next ones didn't get to me until 4 days later and I broke down because I hadn't been able to listen to music). Earphones give my music the ability to block out the world, keep me occupied when I'm bored (say, on a bus or something without anything to do). Music is my religion. Earphones are my lifeline.
